Visual Representation on Foreign Policy.

This was used in a DP lesson with some degree of successs.
I wanted to give the class a visual representation of Hitler's Foreign policy and therefore gave the class a visual way of taking notes of Hitler's Foreign policy.

The Set Up:
1. Print out a blank map of Europe and blow it up to A3, make sure that there is room on the right of the map to make notes.
2. I then had the class colour Germany as it was in the Weimar era in one colour, German speaking territories annexed by Hitler in another colour and non German speaking territories annexed by Hitler in a third colour.
3. I then had the class cut out arrows from card and to mark the name of the territory and the date when Hitler annexed it.
4. Finally on the right margin I had students list all of the foreign agreements made by Hitler with other leaders including their date and outcomes.
